Toondah Harbour misses out

CLEVELAND’S Toondah Harbour has missed out on funding to upgrade the terminal and improve disabled access.

The ferry terminal, known as the Gateway to North Stradbroke Island, was allocated a portion of $6million, which will be spent on dredging Fison Channel along with waters between Victoria Point and Coochiemudlo Island.

A further $4.5million, allocated in April but included in this week’s State Budget, will be spent on upgrading ferry terminals at Victoria Point and Coochiemudlo Island.
