Off-loom beadweaving is done with needle, thread and tiny, precision-made glass beads. I use, almost exclusively, cylinder beads called delicas made by Miyuki of Japan.
My favorite techniques are peyote and ndebele which originated with the indigenous peoples of North America and Africa.
I like making things that are both beautiful and useful… so jewellery such as earrings, necklaces and bracelets and objects such as small bowls and boxes.
