If you’ve been eyeing off the beautiful paintings popping up around the island and wondering what the library crew are up to, here’s the scoop!
Our library volunteers, Pam and Christine, have organised a very Coochie-style fundraiser: original local art, good company, a lucky draw, and plenty of tea, coffee and nibbles. You’ll get the chance to win 1 of the 10 artworks donated by island artists.
The aim? To have fun! And, importantly, fund new books for the library shelves. Well done Pam and Christine!
Where: The Annex, next to the Coochiemudlo Library in the Community Hall
When: 12.30pm, Saturday 13 December (the draw starts at 1.30pm)
The Heritage Room will also be open during the fundraising event.
