Ferry and barge services to Coohiemudlo Island
Both the barge ramp and the ferry terminal are on the southern shoreline of island.
Walk-on passengers can also board the vehicle barge but additional fees apply as explained below.
The passenger ferry is operated as part of the state government’s Translink transport services. The vehicle barge is privately operated.

Bringing a four-wheel trolley? Walk-on passengers with wagons or four-wheel carts must use the barge service. Walk-on passenger barge fare is higher than the (Translink) ferry fare. Four-wheel carts that are larger than 65cm x 65cm incur a one-way fee of $10.00 (as of March 2026).
