Threatened Species Day | Dunecare (Coastcare)

Coochiemudlo Island Coastcare volunteers enjoying tea and cake after a Dunecare session.

Join us for a special working bee, and to acknowledge Threatened Species Day!

Meet where the Coastcare flags fly at the James Street entrance to the Melaleuca Wetlands.

Dunecare weeding sessions happen in the afternoon on the first Saturday of the month. You’ll find us on the eastern shoreline of the island where the Coastcare flags fly.

Besides the satisfaction of pulling out Mother of Millions that have taken root along the shoreline, you’ll get great company with Coochiemudlo Island Coastcare volunteers, and the arvo winds up with a cuppa and cake!

Phone Graeme for more information 0413 352 511.

See the Coochiemudlo Island Coastcare website.
