Material.
Anything I find on beach, road, bush or on holiday.
I’m always on the prowl for anything overlooked by others.
Process.
When I find something I usually put it aside until it shouts out to me. Maybe a boat, a lighthouse, or a vine that wants to be a wreath.
Sometimes it works sometimes not.
For instance when I was flooded 2 years ago I used all leftover wood to fashion tiny houses. They have been a quiet success and I have sold most of them.
Latest at “old manly school house“.
I’m trying to be less of perfectionist and more just enjoy the process, and to remember imperfect is totally fine.
