Full of charm from a bygone era, Ruth Lee has written a beautiful story about how, in the 1960s, she and her ‘ping-pong Pom’ family came to Coochiemudlo Island for a holiday, and loved the place.

Marg has lived on the island for decades. She’s volunteered many hours over the years organising events on Coochiemudlo Island, including the much lauded Matthew Flinders Bicentennial celebrations on the island in 1999.
