Christine Leonard’s latest book, Coochiemudlo: A Mariner’s Mystery, is subtitled ‘A question of latitude for Edward Field Jones’.

Christine has spent months and months researching this story. Her extensive work, culiminating in the publication of this book, will be of great interest to many of us. The book will have broad appeal including those who want to learn about Coochiemudlo’s history, anyone who shares Ted Jones’ fascination with Matthew Flinders’ exploration of Moreton Bay and arrival on the Island in 1799, and of course anyone who remembers the intriguing Ted Jones who lived on Coochiemudlo Island for 47 years.
