Bushcare friends from Indigiscapes are coming over to Coochiemudlo on Saturday, 11 April, for a walk-and-talk through our wonderful Ramsar-listed Melaleuca Wetlands.
Starts: 9.30am from the southern entrance to the Wetlands (at the eastern end of James Street).
The walk will continue on to our Innes Street site, where Coochiemudlo Bushcare are working at eliminating environmental and invasive weeds from the Wetlands boundaries. We need to get some native plants in the ground and those attending will be invited to do some of this satisfying work, and see what a difference it makes when the weeds have gone.
