ANZAC Day Dawn Service on Coochemudlo Island is a special, respectful event to recognise, honour, and relect with gratitude the courage, sacrifice, and mateship of service personnel from Gallipoli to modern conflicts.
The ANZAC dawn service is held at the island’s Memorial near the ferry terminal and Main Beach. The Gallipoli landing was at dawn.
Where: Coochiemudlo Island Memorial (near the ferry terminal)
Arrive at: 5.15am for a 5.30am start.
Arriving by ferry? There’s a special early ferry from Victoria Point at 4.45am.
