Hosted Talk from Moreton Bay Marine Park Duty Ranger

Coochiemudlo Island Heritage Society is hosting an information morning on the four commonly asked questions of the Moreton Bay Marine Park Duty Ranger, Wayne Matthews:

• What we need to know about the Marine Park zoning areas and how rangers patrol and manage these zones, respond to incidents and strandings.

• QWildlife Marine Stranding App

• Whale season is getting earlier and longer. What does that mean for us?

• Migratory shorebirds in feeding grounds and staging roosts around the Bay Islands.

You’ll also hear from:

• Coochie’s turtle stranding team

• Coastcare

• Heritage Society, about the Emerald Fringe.
